Where is the best place to buy wholesale items for resale on eBay?

I am considering starting up a small eBay home business. What are the best items to sell and where do I get them? Will I need a tax ID number to make wholesale purchases? Has anyone had success with this type of endeavor?

If it was thaqt easy we all would be like Bill Gates.
You will have a very difficult task in finding something you could sell cheaper than Wal-mart.

You can sell items and make money but you do have to do research and find either what people are wanting or a person or small company tht is producing items that are part of daily life and buy cheap direct from them to sell.

Don’t give up because with a little thought and determination it can ahd has been done.

They provide 100s of wholesale providers for every niche. And yes, as a business you’ll need a tax ID I guess.
