Im interested in selling my sport relic card collection on ebay. Should i sell it as a "Wholesale lot" or sell it single.
I have about 40 cards in total
thanks
You are better off doing a "Completed Listings" search on each card to determine how well they sell and for what price.
Usually items that are sold in lots don’t sell for as much as the same items sold individually. Most collectors have a specific card they’re looking for and they don’t want the hassle of getting the other 39 cards.
Now, with that being said, there are dealer/collectors that will take the entire lot, pick out what they want and then try to sell the rest at a profit. People that buy lots are often times looking for a good price so they can then turn around and sell the items individually at a higher per card price.
Summed up: Selling individually will usually net you more money but requires more work (potentially 40 packages to ship vs. 1 - you get the idea). Selling a lot is easier but will probably net you less $$$.
If it were me, I’d list separately especially if the cards are as rare as you say.
Good luck.

I would advise you to sell it as a lot. There is more chance that you will get more than one collector bidding which will push up the price.
