Pricing products on Ebay? | eBay Vendors
post Category: ebay dropship — admin @ 10:23 pm — post

I just got a website full of products to sell on ebay but the problem is that I don’t know what starting price I should put my items on Ebay. For Example: I’m want to sell a Playstation 3 40GB with Grand Theft Auto 4 and a PS3 Network Blue Ray Disc.

I have to pay: $411.99 to the dropship website
Sale Price :$599.99
My Profit: $188.00

Does any body know what starting price i should start with?

Start it at the lowest price you would accept, if no one bids, you can re-list. Also be sure to know how to price shipping so you don’t lose money on that. Cheapest way to ship is to pack yourself and use USPS or UPS ground and don’t go to a shipping store as they mark shipping WAY UP.

Good luck.

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)

maybe I’m missing something here. EBay is an auction site.. if you’re using a dropship site then what you should be more interested in is volume, not making 45% markup.

Set your minimum say, 10% markup as a reserve price & a 20% mark-up as a buy it now price. Quick sales are worth taking less for. Increased volume will put you in better standing to negotiate better prices from your suppliers.

Just my thoughts… (as always.. make sure you s&h are covered)

You’re asking to get burned by using a drop shipper.

If you don’t have the product that you’re selling in your hands, then don’t list it for sale.
