How to make money selling other peoples products . One of the good things about opening a online store is you do not need to have a warehouse to store all of the products that you are selling. All you need is a account with a dropshipper. These are companies that have the products and you basically get paid for selling there products.
One of the things that you might want to take into consideration when picking a dropshiper you should pick a products that you have some knowledge in as for me I am big on out door sports. Hiking , camping, hunting, things of that nature. So I have chosen to sell things that can be used in those sports. What you are looking for is a specific area to work in if you are selling tents you don’t want to advertise as a camping supply store it is very vague , and much more difficult to advertises. If you are selling tents make sure that you focus on tents. The dropshippers might sell many different items but it is good to focus on one. For example I have always had a fascination with knives I collected them and also use them often I never go in to the woods with out one. If you are going out in to the wood for a long time or even a few hours I knife is always a good thing to have. Knives are the best tool you can have. This is why my store exclusively sells Pocket knives, and Hunting knives.
This process might take some time. There are many steps that you have to go though. You will have to create a business. And get all of the licenses you might need. You will also need accounts like a merchant account to process online purchases. But this is a very affective way to get involved in creating your own business , and the start to financial independence.

Setting up an Ebay store using dropshippers?
My wife and I, like many Americans are becoming increasingly "cash strapped" and are looking for ways to make money online. We recently went to one of those Ecommerce conferences, but it seemed like it was more about them making money off of us. One idea that we both agree on is setting up an Ebay store using dropshippers. There are a few things we could really use some insight on: Are there any places that will set up your online store for you? (I see some of these online stores have thousands of items and I can’t imagine trying to "restock" all that when something sells). My other two questions are: Do you have to pay in advance for the items that you sell? How do you regulate how much you make on the items that are sold? Your answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
You are right about those ecommerce conferences so I will answer your question.
As far as online goes not many quality companies will do it because they have their own sites these days so the need for the middle man is out of the question. If you plan to start you will need to make a company and have a tax number. Remember its an investment either way, a win lose situation.
Tip: There are many stores, one down the street from me that offers drop ship. Where a customer drops the item they want to sell and they sell it, I don’t know the specifics on how it works, fees, etc but they certainly are out there.
